Addendum

I just watched Zeitgeist: Addendum. Wow! There is not a more powerful movie out there, and I can't speak enough to this. Everyone NEEDS to watch this movie. NEEDS to watch it. The degree of ignorance we have to whats going on in the world, to whats going on around us, more so, the ignorance to the solutions is astonishing. Let me put it in a way that I think will speak to a person. We are truly living in the Matrix. Yes, the movie with Keanue Reeves. As liberal as it sounds I mean it when I say major corporations are running this world. It's a corporatocracy. And in this corporatocracy, we, the average person, and, those at the bottom of the barrel in every third world country, are kept enslaved through poverty and/or debt. In America, most of us work jobs to pay for housing, food, the necessities of life. That is the sole reason we work. It is the means that allows us to live. Well what if I told you that we, as a world, could have everything that we work for, but without having to do it through the monetary system? What if I told you that civilization has come so far through technology, through the progression of our own minds, to the point that we could provide everything for ourselves without money. Simply put, we are finally at such a high level of intelligence that the sole use of money has become obsolete. We are no longer so primitive to the point that we need money to survive. All of the solutions to the earth's problems have been created. I'm not joking. We have the ability to harness more energy, through clean means, than we could with the world's supply of oil combined! We have the ability to ensure that every person could have an electrically powered car with very limited cost. We have the ability to create a form of transportation that could get a person from here in America to Beijing in two hours, with a fraction of the energy consumption that planes use. A fraction. Most people, and I speak from my own experiences, think the solutions to all the problems in the world, the energy crisis, global warming, etc., just haven't been invented yet. Well they have. And they are very practical.

So I'm sure at this point you might be asking, why aren't these being implemented? You also might have answered the question yourself. Every corporation that is in charge of everything from car manufactures, agriculture, energy, oil, transportation, every one of these corporations controls the world, controls the policy of governments, keeps other countries subservient to America, in order to make more and more money, and to stay on top. If we fix all of the aforementioned problems, all of the heads of these corporations lose their money, their profit. They go immediately from being at the top of the world, to just like everyone else.

So the problem becomes awareness. Its true what they used to say in Ancient Rome. "The mob is Rome." The mob is the power. And as long as the mob of the world is ignorant to what is going on, those in power stay in power. They stay there to exploit third world countries, ensuring they never progress. They stay in power to make people believe that we need money to survive, and there is no alternative. Like I said its not that we haven't come up with an alternative. We have! Those that are in power are preventing the world from implementing the alternative because it takes them out of power.

But if the mob of the world, the masses, become aware that we can fix the earth's problems; if enough people realize its completely possible, the few that are in power, will become powerless. Remember, its not the educated, the brilliant that are in power. They're right here with us, asking for change. We no longer need the corporate, free-market, capitalistic, monetary system. A solution has been found, and its gonna take the people in the middle to make it happen. This is my calling; this is what I'm going to dedicate my life to.
